The 26th Annual Golden Trailer Awards were held at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills last night to celebrate the year’s best movie trailers, TV spots, posters, and digital marketing campaigns. Among the biggest winners of the night was Project Hail Mary, which took home the Best of Show prize for its trailer “Chance.” That trailer was created by Wild Card Creative Group for Amazon MGM Studios.

Hosted by comedian Morgan Jay, the ceremony drew in more than 1,000 studio executives, trailer editors, filmmakers, and industry insiders. In addition to Best of Show, Project Hail Mary earned four more awards, making it the most-honored production of the evening. The film won for Best Drama, Best Fantasy/Adventure, Best Music, and Best Action TrailerByte for a Feature Film.

Meanwhile, AV Squad continued to dominate, winning Agency of the Year for the third consecutive year. Between AV Squad and its print division AV Print, the company collected 14 awards overall. Among the studios, Disney led the pack with 29 total wins across its divisions, including Marvel, Pixar, Searchlight, Lucasfilm, FX, Hulu, Disney+, National Geographic, and ABC. Warner Bros. Discovery followed with 22 wins, including three awards each for One Battle After Another, Weapons, and Sinners.

Other winners included Lee Cronin’s The Mummy for Best Horror, Weapons for Best Thriller, The Running Man for Best Action, Anaconda for Best Comedy, and The Devil Wears Prada 2 for Best Teaser.

Golden Trailer Awards executive director Evelyn Brady provided the following statement: “Project Hail Mary’s ‘Chance’ is a master class in everything that can make a trailer effective, from spectacular visuals to arresting sound design to emotional music choices to disarming humor. This trailer and the others for Project Hail Mary clearly connected with audiences, helping to make the film a global box office hit.“
