You might know her for the hit song “Messy,” but Lola Young’s piercings should also be on your radar. The British singer’s signature style put her ahead of some of the hottest trends of the season, from hair to makeup and, especially, piercings.

Since her rise to fame, Young has been known for her cool edgy style. She’s leaned into alt aesthetics, embracing the mindset behind it. In her Elle UK cover story, she said, “Wear whatever the f*ck you want. I dress for how I feel… Being confident is what matters.”

Along with her outfits that often feature baggy pants, trendy tops, and accessories galore, Young has developed a beauty routine to match. For a while, she had calico hair, a trend that would go on to take over TikTok. A mainstay in her look has been the contrast between a bright nude pink lipstick with a deep berry lip liner.
