Tyla hits the orange carpet while arriving for the 2025 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards held at Barker Hangar on Saturday (June 21) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 23-year-old Grammy award-winning singer is set to serve as the host for the annual Nickelodeon awards show!

In addition to her hosting duties, Tyla is also nominated for Favorite Global Music Star and Favorite Music Collaboration for “Show Me Love” with WizTheMc and bees & honey.

Ahead of the show, Tyla dished on getting slimed during the ceremony and how hosting is a full circle moment for her!

Tyla told Access Hollywood that she hopes she only gets “like a cute little drizzle,” and she doesn’t want to get “drenched” like Katy Perry‘s viral moment in 2010.

The “Water” singer also shared how excited she is to host and even revealed how it’s a full circle moment after a failed audition for Nickelodeon when she was a kid.
