Sports and fashion have always gone hand in hand, whether you’re talking about uniform design, collaborations like the one between Ralph Lauren and the Olympic Team USA, or athletes’ off-court style. And there’s no high-profile sports event quite like the Super Bowl, which brings together athletes, actors, pop stars, and yes, the fashion world. While the game and Halftime Show may be the most popular events during Super Bowl weekend, GQ is bringing a bit of runway cool to San Francisco this year with their now-annual GQ Bowl, featuring a runway show from legendary designer Thom Browne.
Ahead, discover what you need to know about the GQ Bowl, including how to watch the show live.
What is the GQ Bowl?
If you’ve never heard of the GQ Bowl, that’s OK! The first installment happened last year; it’s a fashion show, not a football game, and is hosted by Condé Nast publication GQ.
Who is showing their work at the GQ Bowl 2026?
The inaugural bowl featured the work of Bode designer Emily Bode. The 2026 version is all about Thom Browne, the celeb-beloved designer—and football fan!—known for his precise, signature tailoring. (Zendaya, Emma Myers, and Jenna Ortega are fans.) Browne will show both mens- and womenswear on the runway as part of his fall 2026 collection.
When is the GQ Bowl?
The bowl kicks off on Friday, Feb. 6. The actual show takes place in San Francisco, California at the City by the Bay’s Legion of Honor museum, starting at 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET. However, if you’re not based on the West Coast, you can watch the show online.
Where can I watch the GQ Bowl livestream?
The show will stream on GQ.com and GQ’s YouTube channel. The publication will also cover the event live on their social channels, including Instagram and TikTok.
