“Can you survive the day?” Action Xtreme has unveiled the first teaser trailer for an action movie Bad Day at the Office, a first person POV action film from action director Chee Keong Cheung. We haven’t seen one of these POV action movies in a while! Time to dive into another crazy adventure. This is premiering at the 2026 Edinburgh Film Festival coming up this month as one of their Midnight premieres, before it hits theaters in the UK this October. A man with amnesia wakes up in a hotel room next to a corpse, triggering a dangerous conspiracy. He and a maid try to recover his memories & evade the cops to uncover the mystery and survive those pursuing them. The film stars John Hannah, Radha Mitchell, Tamer Hassan, Lana Parrilla, Tim Fellingham, Roxanne McKee, Branko Tomović, and Victor Gardener. Edinburgh’s exciting intro: “Shot in the style of first-person shooter video games with cine-literate wit, humor, ferocious pacing and a cracking soundtrack, this is an anarchic, ultra-violent, hilarious thrill ride of pure, cinematic carnage. The ultimate Midnight Madness experience.” Filmed entirely from a first-person POV using mainly GoPros. There’s even a fight on the London Tube! And one with samurai swords. This looks totally bonkers.

Bad Day at the Office Teaser Trailer

When Karl (John Hannah) awakes in a wrecked hotel room with a splitting headache, it isn’t because he’s nursing a nasty hangover. Karl has no memory of what’s happened, where he is, or even who he is. When he discovers a dead body in his bathtub, and police officers soon knocking at his door, it sets into motion a terrifying & explosive series of events that force Karl & hotel maid Molly (Radha Mitchell) on a descent into a deceptive world of confusion and conspiracy, all the while with a price on his head and half the city in murderous pursuit. Karl will need to draw on his forgotten skill sets if he has any hope of survival, as he & Molly try to unravel what took his memories. Bad Day at the Office is directed by genre filmmaker Chee Keong Cheung, director of the films Underground, Bodyguard: A New Beginning, Redcon-1, and Son of the Soil previously. The screenplay is by Oliver Morran and Chee Keong Cheung. It’s produced by Andreas Roald, Ioanna Karavela, Chee Keong Cheung. This is premiering at the 2026 Edinburgh Film Festival this month. Action Xtreme debuts Bad Day at the Office in UK cinemas starting October 30th, 2026 this fall.
