If you’ve ever spent more than five minutes thinking about your beauty routine, you probably know that sunscreen should be a part of it — and have probably tried a variety of SPF products over the years, some of which (I’m guessing) didn’t work out for you. There are a lot of common complaints that turn some people off from using sunscreen: that it burns their eyes, that it leaves a white cast, that it pills under their makeup, that it just feels goopy on their hands. But the fact remains that we all *need* to use sunscreen to reduce the risk of skin cancer, and it also just keeps your skin looking its best, if that’s something you care about (I’m guessing you do.)

The American Academy of Dermatology recommends using a sunscreen with at least SPF 30 every day, and especially on days you’ll be outside (no matter if it’s cloudy).
