Madonna, Shakira, Burna Boy, BTS, Justin Bieber and Coldplay are putting on a sensational global show!
The superstars teamed up for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final first-ever halftime show on Sunday (July 19) at the New York New Jersey Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The show kicked off with Madonna emerging from a soccer disco ball and delivering a spectacular rendition of “Music” mixed with “Disco Inferno,” as performed during her The Confessions Tour. She was joined by Brazil icons Ronaldo Nazário and Ronaldinho on a car as she stepped out onto the field to kick off the rest of the performances.
The performance then cut to Gustavo Dudamel who conducted the New York Philharmonic and the Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela alongside The Muppets (they also did Norway’s Viking Row!) in a rendition of “Seven Nation Army,” followed by an explosive performance of “Dynamite” by BTS.
Justin Bieber slowed things down with “Everything Hallelujah,” and then Shakira and Burna Boy came out to perform their FIFA anthem “Dai Dai.” Finally, Coldplay debuted a new song “Believe in Love” along with the PS22 Chorus,with appearances by the Ghetto Kids and Emmanuel Kelly, as well as beloved characters Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy also joining the artists.
