Meghan Markle Reportedly Suffers Another Hollywood Blow Ahead Of Australia Trip

Meghan Markle may have hit another snag in her career, as claims that she has been dropped by the talent agency, William Morris Endeavor [WME], reemerge despite prior denials.

The claim, backed by fresh reports, points to tensions over expectations and behavior, though no official split has been confirmed.

As speculation grows around her professional relationships and shifting career direction, questions are once again emerging about Meghan Markle’s general standing in Hollywood.

Has Meghan Markle Been ‘Dumped’ By WME?

Broadcaster Dan Wootton has reignited controversy around Meghan Markle, claiming she may have quietly parted ways with her talent agency.

Speaking on his podcast “Dan Wootton Outspoken,” he alleged that the Duchess of Sussex had been “dumped” by her representatives, framing the reported split as significant given the agency’s influence in Hollywood.

Meghan previously signed with William Morris Endeavor (WME), led by Ari Emanuel, in 2023 with the goal of strengthening her presence in the entertainment industry. The agency represents major stars including Dwayne Johnson, Mark Wahlberg, Vin Diesel, and Oprah Winfrey.

According to The Express, Wootton stated that rumors about a split had been circulating for some time, “but Meghan and Archewell and her little liars in Montecito have been pushing back and saying they’re still involved.”

The claims gained further attention after Alison Boshoff of the Daily Mail reported that Meghan and Prince Harry had quietly parted ways with WME some time ago.

An unnamed insider allegedly suggested tensions arose over expectations placed on agency staff during the 2023 Thanksgiving period.

Wootton went further, criticizing what he described as excessive demands, and claimed the agency ultimately chose to step back from the relationship.

“This is a company that is used to working with the biggest divas in the world,” he continued, “but when it came to Meghan Markle, they said, ‘Enough! We are not having this. Our staff deserves a Thanksgiving. You’re gone, sweetheart.’”

Another industry source, cited in the same report, suggested that certain media coverage, particularly around Meghan’s reported fallout with Netflix, might not have surfaced if WME were still actively representing the duchess.

WME Has Previously Denied Separation Rumors

Despite the speculation, both WME and sources close to the Sussexes have previously denied any formal split, with reports in early 2025 indicating that neither side publicly confirmed a separation.

In response, Wootton fumed: “Lies, lies, and more lies. She’s not telling the truth. There’s no contract. There’s no deal. They’re not involved.”

The broadcaster, however, offered a harsh assessment of the couple’s post-royal trajectory, claiming they have lost several major industry partnerships, including deals with Spotify, Netflix, and WME.

Regarding Harry and Meghan’s relationship with Netflix, the couple still seems to be in good standing with the streaming giant, even after a recent split between the company and the duchess’s lifestyle brand, As Ever.

Also, despite Variety’s bombshell claims about strained ties between the Sussexes and Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos, the royal couple was among the celebrities who made an appearance at his recent star-studded private party in Montecito.

Meanwhile, Meghan is reportedly declining lucrative opportunities to share her personal story, despite continued industry interest.

According to a recent cover story by Us Weekly, she has received multiple offers to write a memoir but is not currently interested.

While public curiosity about her life with Prince Harry remains high, insiders say the couple is stepping away from deeply personal projects following the release of Harry’s memoir “Spare” and their Netflix docuseries “Harry & Meghan.”

Even so, a memoir is considered one of Meghan’s most commercially valuable opportunities, with the potential to rival, or even exceed, Harry’s reported $20 million advance.

Addressing the topic during an April 2025 appearance on “The Jamie Kern Lima Show,” Meghan said she isn’t ready to write her life story yet, noting she still has more life to live before taking that step.

Meghan Markle’s Sydney Retreat Raises Questions

At the same time, fresh developments surrounding Meghan’s upcoming wellness retreat in Sydney have sparked further online discussion.

The event, scheduled for April 17 to 19 at InterContinental Coogee Beach, is being organized by Jackie ‘O’ Henderson and her manager Gemma O’Neill.

Originally, the retreat’s registration page indicated that all spots had been sold out, with a waiting list in place. However, a recent update revealed that a limited number of additional rooms had become available, prompting questions about whether the event had actually reached capacity.

Attendance is capped at 300 guests, with tickets priced at approximately $2,699 for standard access and $3,199 for VIP packages.

The update has fueled online debate, with some social media users suggesting the retreat may not have sold out as initially claimed, but “merely retreating from reality.” Others speculated that previously reserved room blocks were simply being released.

MI vs RCB, IPL 2026 — Bumrah’s wicket-less run a strange confrontation for Mumbai Indians

Kieron Pollard was unequivocal in his assessment of Jasprit Bumrah. Addressing the media on the eve of Mumbai Indians’ home game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), the batting coach insisted the franchise was not “looking too much” into Bumrah’s wicket-less run.

“When the time comes to get wickets, he’ll get wickets. If not, and he’s economical, we’ll accept that as well,” Pollard said, backing the spearhead to come good.

But as the two heavyweight team clashed at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday, Bumrah’s lean patch continued. He returned figures of 0 for 35 in four overs (economy 8.75), the most economical among the six bowlers used, yet unable to provide the breakthroughs Mumbai Indians desperately needed as RCB piled up a daunting 240.

Against a star-studded batting unit, Mumbai’s bowlers were put under sustained pressure from the outset. Bumrah, often relied upon to break partnerships or stem the flow of runs, found himself operating in damage-control mode.

He began with a 10-run over, with Virat Kohli welcoming him with a deft boundary over short third. While he managed to keep things tight thereafter, the early opportunity to make an inroad slipped by.

Reintroduced in the sixth over, shortly after Mitchell Santner conceded 22 runs, Bumrah briefly restored control, giving away just six. It was a reminder of his discipline and control, even on a night when the margins were unforgiving.

However, wickets remained elusive. With Phil Salt and Kohli setting the tempo and attacking relentlessly, Mumbai Indians struggled to find a way through.

In his second spell, Bumrah delivered a tidy seven-run over, but the penultimate over tilted the balance again. Tim David took him on, striking a four and a six as Bumrah conceded 13 runs, a rare sight for a bowler who usually thrives at the death.

So far this season, Bumrah has conceded 123 runs in four matches without a wicket, an unusual stretch for a bowler of his calibre. The last time he endured a similar phase was back in 2014, when he went four matches without a breakthrough.

For Mumbai Indians, the concern is not just the lack of wickets, but the absence of those decisive interventions Bumrah has so often provided, the breakthroughs that halt momentum and shift matches.

The tournament, though, is still young. And the team would hope for Bumrah to rediscover his rhythm, because as history suggests, when Bumrah strikes, the balance often shifts with MI.

Published on Apr 12, 2026

#RCB #IPL #Bumrahs #wicketless #run #strange #confrontation #Mumbai #Indians
