Michael Kelly in Prison Mystery Thriller ‘Time of Death’ Official Trailer

“I want a fresh set of eyes on this. I’m tell ya, something’s not right here…” Vertical has unveiled an official trailer for a prison movie mystery thriller titled Time of Death, formerly known as simply Closure before this title change. It’s being released quickly on VOD right away this month if anyone wants to have a closer look and find out what’s really going on inside these damp prison walls. When a prisoner vanishes without a trace, Detective Frank Morley is sent to a decrepit prison on the verge of shutdown. From filmmaker Will Wernick, it’s set inside an isolated, decaying prison, and follows one man’s journey down a sinister, winding path of lies, corruption & buried secrets. This tense, atmospheric horror thriller is full of mystery, darkness and the unknown – as the lines of reality and delusion begin to blur. Starring the highly underrated actor Michael Kelly as Det. Morley, along with Kevin Pollak, Dennis Haysbert, & Mena Suvari. This looks like it gets very freaky! And it seems to turn into some frightening horror with some scary twists to uncover.

What begins as a routine investigation quickly spirals into a dangerous search for answers. As his reality begins to fracture, Frank is haunted by the many secrets that lie within the prison walls. Time of Death, also known as Closure, is directed by indie genre filmmaker Will Wernick, director of the films Escape Room, Follow Me, Safer at Home, and Break previously. The script is written by Jason Rosen. Produced by Kyle David Crosby, Jeff Delson, Kelly Delson, Jason Rosen, and Will Wernick. This hasn’t premiered at any festivals or elsewhere, as far as we know.
