At least one instance of intercepted missile fragments hit southern Israel on Sunday afternoon, United Hatzalah announced.

The IDF, confirming United Hatzalah’s announcement, noted that Search and Rescue Brigade soldiers were mobilized to the area where the reported hit occurred.

Ramat Hovav officials stated that they received reports that a factory in the town’s industrial zone was hit, but emphasized that they had received no reports of damage within Ramat Hovav’s residential areas.

The Israel Fire and Rescue Authority stated that shrapnel from the intercepted Iranian missile hit an open area near a factory, with no casualties occurring from the incident.

However, shrapnel did hit within the factory, causing minor damage, IFRA confirmed.

IFRA firefighters were mobilized to the scene to control the fire.

This followed sirens sounding in the Beersheba area at approximately 1:35 p.m. and approximately 1:50 p.m.

The intercepted fragments did not cause any injuries, according to initial reports.

Earlier on Sunday, Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon fired rockets towards northern Israel, sounding sirens in the Haifa area. No injuries or damage were caused in this barrage.

Meanwhile, the Health Ministry published its updates on injuries and casualties since Operation Roaring Lion began.

As of 7 a.m. on Sunday, there had been a total of 6,833 casualties resulting in hospital evacuations, of whom 138 are still hospitalized, the ministry stated.

Out of these 138, two were admitted to the hospital in critical condition, 14 in serious condition, 26 in moderate condition, 93 who were lightly injured, two who were suffering from anxiety-related symptoms, and one who is undergoing medical evaluation.

The ministry further clarified that 108 people had been admitted to the hospital in the past 24 hours, including two who were moderately injured, 105 who were lightly injured, and one who was suffering from anxiety-related symptoms.
