Rihanna and her daughter Rocki are the cover stars for W Magazine’s Volume 3, The Pop Issue. Primark to Split From Associated British Foods

Associated British Foods (ABF) has confirmed its plans to separate its own foods business from fashion retailer Primark. Wittington Investments, which has majority ownership of ABF, remains committed to maintaining majority ownership of Primark and the separate food company, which is currently called FoodCo. The board said one-off separation and transaction costs are expected to be in the region of £75 million ($101.4 million). {WWD/paywalled}

Estée Lauder Is Reportedly Seeking €5 Billion for Puig Merger

Estée Lauder Cos. has reportedly hired JPMorgan Chase & Co. to structure a financing package of about €5 billion ($5.9 billion) to fund its potential tie-up with Puig Brands SA. JPMorgan is coordinating talks with other lenders on the package. Bloomberg previously reported that Estée Lauder and Puig were advancing in negotiations to combine. {Bloomberg/paywalled}
