The Bad Guys 2, the 2025 animated sequel to 2022’s The Bad Guys, is officially available on Netflix today. The sequel features the voices of returning cast members Sam Rockwell as Mr. Wolf, Marc Maron as safe-cracker Mr. Snake, Craig Robinson as master of disguise Mr. Shark, Anthony Ramos as Mr. Piranha, and Awkwafina as hacker Ms. Tarantula, aka Webs.

Joining them in the film are Danielle Brooks, Natasha Lyonne, Maria Bakalova, Zazie Beetz, Richard Ayoade, Lilly Singh, and Alex Borstein. The new movie features the titular Bad Guys (who are now trying to be good) running into a new group of criminals.

“In the new action-packed chapter from DreamWorks Animation’s acclaimed comedy smash about a crackerjack crew of animal outlaws, our now-reformed Bad Guys are trying (very, very hard) to be good, but instead find themselves hijacked into a high-stakes, globe-trotting heist, masterminded by a new team of criminals they never saw coming: The Bad Girls,” reads the official synopsis.

The movie was directed by Pierre Perifel and JP Sans, based on the New York Times best-selling book series by Aaron Blabey. It was produced by Damon Ross, with Daniel Pemberton serving as the composer. The original film, released in 2022, was a big success, grossing over $250 million at the box office.
