A few months back, photos from the New York set of “Daredevil: Born Again” teased the return of the core cast of the Netflix “Marvel’s Defenders” series – Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones, Mike Colter’s Luke Cage and Finn Jones’ Danny Rand/Iron Fist.
Now, a new wave of photos and videos of filming of scenes set several episodes into the season, have shown another familiar face – Elodie Yung.
The actress, who played Elektra Natchios in the second season of “Daredevil” and was last seen in “The Defenders,” has been photographed filming in full Elektra costume.
The costume, though not entirely comic-accurate, features more red than some of her previous outfits on the show.
It’s expected the character will be featured in the new season’s marketing and so technically doesn’t qualify as a spoiler. The streamer certainly doesn’t seem to have a problem with her being photographed.
How the former assassin will figure into the story is unclear.
