A new poster for the final episode of The Boys has arrived… and it’s got fans (me) thinking a bit more positively about what’s to come in the series finale.

The poster sees Butcher walking up to the White House, while Homelander and dozens of Supes are flying overhead. This is a recreation of a panel from The Boys issue #65 titled, ‘Over The Hill With The Swords Of A Thousand Men.’ In the panel, Butcher is walking up to the White House, with Supes (sans Homelander) flying overhead, and saying, “He ain’t gonna find no fuckin’ superhero waitin. He gonna be up against some other shit altogether.” It’s in this very issue that Homelander and Butcher face off for the last time… but it’s not Butcher who puts an end to Homelander’s reign of terror.
