Nike’s Futuristic Foamposite Sneakers Are Getting a New Premium Release for Their 30th Anniversary

Nike’s Futuristic Foamposite Sneakers Are Getting a New Premium Release for Their 30th Anniversary

In 1997, Nike introduced the Air Foamposite One, a sneaker that was so ahead of its time, it still looks futuristic nearly three decades after its debut. And in 2027, the Beaverton, Ore.-based sportswear company will celebrate the upcoming milestone with a special-edition 30th anniversary-themed colorway.

The Nike Air Foamposite One PRM 30th Anniversary will be released during summer 2027, according to new information shared by @zsneakerheadz and Sneaker Market Romania. In-hand images of the new pair aren’t yet available, but a speculative mock-up was provided which is said to accurately depict how the retail version will look.

With a White/White/Black/Game Royal/Metallic Silver color combination, the new pair is expected to feature a white molded polyurethane Foamposite upper combined with black details including on the model’s typically translucent rubber outsole. A blue mini Swoosh at the toe connects the style back to its former torchbearer, Penny Hardaway, and his Orlando Magic team.

But the standout feature of this upcoming premium pair is its graphic upper which features an all-over star pattern across its Foamposite shell. The stars are expected to appear subtle in standard lighting, but feature a reflective treatment which illuminates in a camera flash or when the shoe is hit with direct light.

A speculative mock-up of what the upcoming Nike Air Foamposite One PRM 30th Anniversary is expected to look like.

Aside from the reflective star pattern, the colorway itself is reminiscent of a player edition version of the Air Foamposite One worn by Hardaway in 1997. A similar white-based style was released at retail in 2023, but featured some minor differences compared to Hardaway’s exclusives.

Foamposite fans have plenty to look forward to in the coming months. Both the Air Foamposite One and its Air Foamposite Pro counterpart have several high-profile releases lined up including a “Mummy Duck” University of Oregon collaboration, the “Dr. Doom” style and a set of NCAA football-themed colorways, among others.

The Nike Air Foamposite One PRM 30th Anniversary is set to be released during summer ’27 from Nike’s Snkrs app and select Nike Sportswear retailers for $230. The style code for the upcoming release is IW8543-100.

The Right Pool-Cleaning Robot for Every Budget and Backyard<div><p class="paywall">This robot has everything: near-perfect cleaning capabilities (including floors, walls, and waterline), a powerful battery with six hours of charge under the water, AI-powered debris detection, and a solid mobile app. It also has the ability to skim the surface of the pool. When finished cleaning, the AquaSense 2 Ultra floats, so collecting it is just a matter of grabbing it from the comfort of the deck. After a quick cleanup, drop the robot on the included charging stand to juice it back up, no cables required.</p><p class="paywall">What’s not to like? Only two things, really. Monstrous cleaning ability requires a monstrous chassis, and to say the 29-pound Beatbot AquaSense 2 Ultra is unwieldy would be an understatement. Hauling this robot out of the water can be a chore, so work on your forearm curls if you plan to purchase one.</p><p class="paywall">There’s also the price point: At around $3,000, it’s pretty much the most expensive battery-powered pool robot on the market, though plenty of competitors are at least in the ballpark. If your budget’s tighter, you can get most of the same coverage from <a data-offer-url="https://beatbot.com/products/sora-70?" class="external-link text link" data-event-click="{"element":"ExternalLink","outgoingURL":"https://cna.st/affiliate-link/VDkSwjASRpoWbh7jFFq7H1EGwVjShzD22fmppo1hRHX5MmtKR7XuHmt35NnKgQvjbyqvMZsDtRC17eX38Ncd1yYDdN5Mjp8vJ1qXZoj158oa5mbqDmmqn1kLzfDnZbmCdW97sAhaXxogwTJQD89Xgh5EE2fipPRtD2x8w3vCwouXBPLkScjCnHQCjAKkNYp9MYriWmsddiiURHiFrawEFa3rJvKt2gQnpczRSHVhzmbis9VAxWZRzs6rPyBDJC93qAFiuHAogf4aZUHCg7odL"}" href="https://cna.st/affiliate-link/VDkSwjASRpoWbh7jFFq7H1EGwVjShzD22fmppo1hRHX5MmtKR7XuHmt35NnKgQvjbyqvMZsDtRC17eX38Ncd1yYDdN5Mjp8vJ1qXZoj158oa5mbqDmmqn1kLzfDnZbmCdW97sAhaXxogwTJQD89Xgh5EE2fipPRtD2x8w3vCwouXBPLkScjCnHQCjAKkNYp9MYriWmsddiiURHiFrawEFa3rJvKt2gQnpczRSHVhzmbis9VAxWZRzs6rPyBDJC93qAFiuHAogf4aZUHCg7odL" rel="sponsored" target="_blank">Beatbot’s Sora 70, which sells for just $1,499</a>.</p><p><h2 class="paywall">Pool-Cleaning Robot With the Best Battery Life</h2></p><div data-testid="feature-large-callout" class="CalloutFeatureLargeWrapper-hpnRzB leUusV"><div class="UnifiedProductCardBody-fMbTZU hibBeb product-embed" data-item="{"ctaHref":"https://cna.st/p/7ZJg7i5XH42a3f7aqpezsto6XxSZw3fFmiLRxknwWRMnYLognC3Rh5cWnxeTBJzSaPfqUefDYZPhZzRzQcPCb33JxVKiw1AxFybRuXvR1DcJkD3chzDitBnZdY5A5SNFHjLERD35MnAfYu2pTWALddhR696BgdErUVo1U7oqM7TFNCH8w35iyxEYn9wnv65F2dTjPifiz3PQYz2UZTBntiJmd2pbVTHyPP8nKmuUt2iQ4WHAcW3ehzNX6AfyxhGnp2WXEqPv8QaZYn1BRmbKxeHpJ7BuzqZxqecJ8e8eDhEJQNsiZzXj1UUY37TX5H5j3cHP8nkGCC4c4oU6Xrin64G8HnBuf3Zd5fRmzSKzDFNPn88XE3RDDMR1Az2kFcnFa1oe52gvL2rNu4Ysemg","dangerousDek":"","productBrand":"iGarden","dangerousHed":"Robotic Pool Cleaner M1-AI 90","embedSize":"feature-medium","isFirstProduct":false,"isSponsored":false,"offerRetailer":"iGarden","offerUrl":"https://store.igarden.ai/products/igarden-pool-cleaner-m1-ai-series","contentType":"product","productId":"6a18b933985216191b402f57","showOfferUrl":false,"showPriceOnButton":true,"showAffiliateDisclaimerOnFirstProduct":false,"dangerousCredit":"Photograph: Chris Null","showLocalisedOffers":true,"hasCheckPriceFeature":false,"isUpcEnabled":true,"showClampedProductDescription":true,"productDescriptionLineLength":5,"hasReadMoreFeature":false,"index":1,"hasAffiliateLinkDisabled":false,"isMobileView":false,"showMultipleImageCount":4,"hasProsConsFeature":false,"hasRatingFeature":false,"pros":[],"cons":[],"rating":"","shouldUseAmazonPrimeDayLiveAPIData":true,"contentInfo":{"contentUrl":"https://www.wired.com/story/best-pool-cleaning-robots/","contentName":"The Best Robotic Pool Cleaners"},"enableGtmFixesIntersectionObserver":true,"enableGtmFixesUseRef":true,"textBadge":null,"seal":null,"id":"6a18b933985216191b402f57","brand":{"name":"iGarden"},"offers":[{"offerUrl":"https://store.igarden.ai/products/igarden-pool-cleaner-m1-ai-series","price":"$2,199","currency":"USD","purchaseUri":"https://cna.st/p/7ZJg7i5XH42a3f7aqpezsto6XxSZw3fFmiLRxknwWRMnYLognC3Rh5cWnxeTBJzSaPfqUefDYZPhZzRzQcPCb33JxVKiw1AxFybRuXvR1DcJkD3chzDitBnZdY5A5SNFHjLERD35MnAfYu2pTWALddhR696BgdErUVo1U7oqM7TFNCH8w35iyxEYn9wnv65F2dTjPifiz3PQYz2UZTBntiJmd2pbVTHyPP8nKmuUt2iQ4WHAcW3ehzNX6AfyxhGnp2WXEqPv8QaZYn1BRmbKxeHpJ7BuzqZxqecJ8e8eDhEJQNsiZzXj1UUY37TX5H5j3cHP8nkGCC4c4oU6Xrin64G8HnBuf3Zd5fRmzSKzDFNPn88XE3RDDMR1Az2kFcnFa1oe52gvL2rNu4Ysemg","reducedPrice":"$1,399","sellerName":"iGarden","countryCode":"US","offerId":"6a18b993c852cbd75262cffb"}],"component":"enhanced_product_card","total_index":3,"hasMultipleImage":true,"showProsConsData":false,"videoIds":[],"offersLength":1,"hasBookmarkingFeature":true,"isBookmarked":false,"isBookmarkStatusReady":false}"><div id="6a18b933985216191b402f57" class="UnifiedLandscapeProductCardWrapper-hlWSjM cPklvY"><div class="UnifiedProductCardContainer-kDfsJX kDUXHU"><div class="UnifiedProductCardDetailsContainer-jCVwIh cPdCww"><div class="UnifiedProductCardDetailsWrapper-cqZhsd kIrltE"><div class="UnifiedProductCardDetails-bjjeGO liKGCS"><p class="BaseText-fEwdHD UnifiedProductCardBrandName-jTSGxk bMgKWL loEUhp upc-brandName">iGarden</p><p><h3 id="upc_6a18b933985216191b402f57" type="embed" class="BaseText-fEwdHD UnifiedProductCardName-jkGINH klhnDX eLkfON">Robotic Pool Cleaner M1-AI 90</h3></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><p class="paywall">The traditional way to use a pool robot is to keep it dry-docked and charging, then drop it into the pool only when you need it. Fish it out at the end of the run, clean the filter basket, and repeat.</p><p class="paywall">An alternative may appeal to lazier pool owners: Drop the robot in the pool and leave it there for a week or two, let it run on a repeating schedule, then clean it out only when the battery is dead.</p><p class="paywall">The trick with this strategy is that few pool robots have a battery big enough to allow for more than one or two thorough cleanings. But with its new M1-AI series, iGarden drops a massive 12,500 mAh battery into its sleek pool bot, allowing up to nine hours of running time in floor-only operation. (It can also do walls and waterline, of course, but that will eat up more of the juice.) The robot also includes cameras that use an AI-powered algorithm to actively scour for debris. In standard mode, the robot first follows an S-shaped path, then it fires up the cams to hunt down anything it missed, making for even more effective cleaning.</p></div>#PoolCleaning #Robot #Budget #Backyardbuying guides, shopping, smart home, robots, backyard, home, yardware upgrade
