On the Monday episode of The View, Whoopi Goldberg went gaga over Anne Hathaway’s acting journey amid the success of The Odyssey. “Anne Hathaway, it’s been wonderful watching you,” The Color Purple star told Hathaway. She further added, “It’s been wonderful watching you grow up. And you have just blossomed, turned into this fabulous actress.” The Devil Wears Prada star was seen getting overwhelmed by her words and stated, “No, don’t!” while Goldberg added, “Girl! Yes! Yes! You need to know. You need to know.”

As such, Hathaway joked, “I’d be crying [even] if I wasn’t pregnant right now!” Thus, Goldberg said, “It’s something you need to know and remember.” Hathaway also told the host, “I don’t even know what to say, thank you. You know how I feel about you.”

Recently, the Oscar-winning actress also had an emotional moment on the Today show. The host Craig Melvin surprised her with a gift for her unborn child.

“We wanted to celebrate you and celebrate your bun there in the oven, so we got you a baby gift,” Melvin told Hathaway. He continued, “When the child comes out, we want the child ready for battle… It is a Trojan outfit, custom-designed for the baby. The actress appreciated the gift while holding her tears. “This is so cute. Who is talented enough to make all of this?” the 43-year-old said. She added, “This is appropriately epic. Thank you so much. This is amazing.”

Hathaway has been having the best time in her professional and personal life. Besides The Odyssey, she enjoyed the success of The Devil Wears Prada 2. Her upcoming movies include The End of Oak Street and Verity. In the previous month, she announced that she is expecting her third child with her husband, Adam Shulman.
