Peter Parker, MJ & Ned Get Brand New Looks In Unreleased Spider-Man Art

Peter, MJ, and Ned almost had very different looks in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.

Created by Jeff Trammell, the Marvel animated series premiered on Disney+ in 2025, exploring Spider-Man’s early comic book roots and charting his journey to becoming an MCU hero. Peter sports a new look in the show and is distinct from Tom Holland’s live-action version of the character, with neither MJ nor Ned playing a prominent role in the series.

Artist Kal Athannassov has now taken to Instagram to share his early artwork for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, revealing a look for Peter that veers closer to Holland’s take on the character. The art, which Athannassov says was exploratory in nature prior during the show’s early development, also shows what an animated MJ and Ned may have looked like. Check out the concept art below:
