Sasha and Malia Obama are at it again with the style inspo for summer. Just last month, the sisters gave us their masterclasses on styling workwear during a dinner outing with Michelle Obama. Now they are doing it again, showing off their two very different (but very effective) takes on summer outfit formulas—and we are taking notes.

On June 16, pictures of the sister duo emerged on another restaurant date, this time with friends and during the day. The two were seen basking in the sun while wandering around Los Feliz, California, in two contrasting outfits that had one thing in common: comfort.

Malia Obama favored a white cropped tank top, paired with a dark-wash denim miniskirt and mid-calf black leather boots from Miista. She wore her trademark auburn hair loose with a top bun and added a denim carryall, which she wore crossbody. As for accessories, she wore multiple silver hoops and a pair of small ’90s-inspired semi-sheer sunglasses.

Loewe on the other hand, wore white, loose-fitting trousers, another summer staple, that she paired with a sleeveless, lightweight 100% silk chiffon top featuring a plaid print and gathered-seam detailing from Rachel Comey, and square-toe brown flip-flops. She rounded out the look with a pair of big, square, blue-tinted tortoiseshell sunglasses from Loewe and a Birkin-style slouchy shoulder bag in mustard yellow for an extra pop of color.
