Sean “Diddy” Combs’ private jet has long been a symbol of his billionaire-era lifestyle, glossy excess, and celebrity mobility. Now, that symbol is gone. Six months after his federal conviction on prostitution-related charges, the music and media mogul has sold his custom matte black Gulfstream G550, signaling a quiet but notable shift in both circumstance and public image.

The sale followed a change in ownership that brought Combs’ relationship with Silver Air Private Jets to an end. Previously, the aviation company had managed charter services for the aircraft. In October 2025, a representative confirmed that their involvement officially ended.

Federal Aviation Administration records show that the jet was formerly owned by LoveAir LLC, an entity linked to Combs. It previously carried the tail number N1969C. That registration is no longer active. The aircraft now flies under T7-OKS, a tail number associated with San Marino.

Although the exact sale price has not been disclosed. However, similar Gulfstream G550 models are currently valued between $15 million and $30 million, depending on configuration and condition.

Built in 2015, the jet featured a matte black exterior and a beige interior. It seated up to 14 passengers and included a full entertainment system. The aircraft was also marketed as pet-friendly.

Combs was frequently photographed boarding the jet in the months before his arrest. In March 2024, flight trackers showed the plane traveling from California to Antigua during federal raids on his homes in Los Angeles and Miami.

Months later, in July, Combs posted a video of himself boarding the jet on Instagram Stories. The clip showed a “Combs Air” placemat at the aircraft steps. “No place like home,” he said at the end of the video.

The jet sale comes as Combs serves the early phase of his federal sentence. In July, he was convicted on two prostitution-related charges involving interstate transportation. He was acquitted of more serious racketeering and sex-trafficking allegations.

Combs was sentenced to 50 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian. With credit for time already served, he is expected to spend about three years behind bars.

The court also imposed five years of supervised release and a $500,000 fine, the maximum allowed under federal sentencing guidelines.

During sentencing, Combs appeared subdued. He kept his head lowered, his shoulders hunched, and his hands clasped as the ruling was delivered.

Before sentencing, he spoke directly to the court. An apology was offered to former partners, friends, and family members. His actions were described as “disgusting, shameful, and sick.” He added that his children deserved better and admitted he had failed his mother as a son.

As legal consequences continue to reshape his public and private life, the sale of Combs’ once-iconic jet stands as a clear symbol of a chapter closing, both financially and culturally.
