“I got the power!” Yes he does! Well this looks totally badass. 36 Cinema + Variance has revealed a second official trailer for the movie One Spoon of Chocolate, a killer new cinematic event from the mind of The RZA. This first premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival last year and it opens in US theaters this May. And it looks like it kicks all kinds of ass! Quentin Tarantino presents this badass revenge thriller. His official intro: “As a filmmaker, RZA really brought home the bacon on an old-school, foot-to-ass, Revenge-a-matic! This picture drives audiences wild wherever it screens. We’ll sell you a whole seat, but you’ll only use the edge of it.” An ex-military convict seeks a fresh start in a small town, but his past catches up as he finds love amidst danger and chaos. RZA’s One Spoon of Chocolate stars Shameik Moore as Unique, joined by Blair Underwood, RJ Cyler, Paris Jackson, Emyri Crutchfield, Michael Harney, & Harry Goodwins. This is a much better trailer than the first one, giving us real chunks of the intense action galore and brutal take downs being served up by Shameik. Looks like a helluva good time! Might have to go see this after all.

Here’s the second trailer (+ new poster) for RZA’s movie One Spoon of Chocolate, direct from YouTube:

Unique (Shameik Moore) is a veteran and ex-convict who is seeking a whole new fresh start in a small town. After an altercation with a gang of locals, he starts to suspect they may have something to do with the disappearance of young men in the area – including his cousin. When he digs for the truth, he soon finds himself the target of not only the gang, but also the local sheriff’s office, whose involvement in the disappearances may be even more sinister. Instead of waiting for his turn to be picked off, Unique and those closest to him decide to fight back. One Spoon of Chocolate is both written and directed by American actor / musician / filmmaker The RZA, aka Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, director of the films The Man with the Iron Fists, Love Beats Rhymes, Cut Throat City, A Wu-Tang Experience: Live at Red Rocks Amphitheatre previously, plus other projects. Produced by Paul Hall and The RZA. This initially premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival last year. 36 Cinema Distribution + Variance Films will debut The RZA’s One Spoon of Chocolate film in select US theaters starting May 1st, 2026 coming soon. Who’s down for this? Look good?
