Lucasfilm and Production I.G, the acclaimed anime studio behind the original “Ghost In The Shell,” have teamed up for the limited animated streaming series project “Star Wars: Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi,” and the show drops on Wednesday, with the studio revealing the final trailer and a heap of new footage to boot.

“The Ninth Jedi” is directed by Shunsuke Tada (“Kuroko’s Basketball,” “Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These”), written by Mitsuyasu Sakai, and longtime “Ghost In The Shell” franchise alumni Kenji Kamiyama (“The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim,” “Blade Runner: Black Lotus”) serves as supervising director.
