Stray Kids’ Bang Chan Just Made a Case for Matching Prints

If you thought matching prints was a fashion faux pas, Stray Kids’ Bang Chan is here to change your opinion.

Prints can make or break an outfit, and they are such a focal point that most people tend to balance one standout printed piece with more neutral pieces to complement it — but not Bang Chan. The Fendi ambassador recently took to Instagram to prove he’s all in for a matching-print moment, posing in a two-piece printed set from the Italian brand.

Bang Chan’s set is made of 100% silk and features a button-up short-sleeved shirt and matching shorts with a reimagined logo monogram. The light texture and breezy silhouettes make it perfect for warmer weather. However, the print formula works just as well for the fall and winter.

As we tend to cover up more and more with coats and jackets, having matching print pieces underneath your outerwear makes for a great peekaboo statement moment. If you want to apply Bang Chan’s formula, opt for a long-sleeved PJ-inspired set that you can wear out and pair it with a long brown or black coat for a chic twist. If you want to take it a step further, you could even dip your toes into print mixing and infuse your fall-winter ‘fits with an extra dose of fun. And as Bang Chan proves, you can still keep it subtle color-wise.
