Manco Kapak’s hopes for the future collide with bitter truths in “The Get Out.” The thriller sees Kapak’s retirement plans quickly upended thanks to cartels, a mysterious man, and two ruthless gunmen. ‘Out’ is directed by Derrick Borte, from a screenplay by Borte and Daniel Forte. It is based on Thomas Perry’s novel “Strip.” The filmmaker’s previous projects include the 2009 dramedy “The Joneses,” which he also co-wrote.
