You can take the cast out of Riverdale, but you can’t take Riverdale out of the cast! The hit CW series might have wrapped up years ago, but its stars are still a close-knit group and recently had a mini Riverdale reunion at Camila Mendes’s surprise engagement party.

On October 26, Camila Mendes announced she and Rudy Mancuso were officially engaged after three years of dating, and she rallied all her friends to celebrate the news over the weekend, including some of her closest Riverdale co-stars.

While we have seen Mendes together with Lili Reinhart and Madelaine Petsch aplenty since the series wrapped in 2023 after seven seasons, KJ Apa also joined in on the fun this time around. On October 28, Petsch posted photos of herself with Apa and Reinhart from the celebration, and the trio was all smiles. “A reunion weekend,” she wrote over the image, tagging the two stars. “My girls,” Apa added when resharing to his account.

Reinhart also shared a photo of herself and Petsch hugging Mendes during the event on her own stories, looking teary-eyed for her friend. Mendes also shared the same image in a recap carousel from the night that she posted on her main IG feed. “Thank you to all our loved ones who came out to celebrate this milestone with us. Best surprise ever,” she captioned the post.

Back in 2024, KJ Apa opened up about the bond the Riverdale cast shares, revealing that most of them still keep in touch and even have an active group chat. “I still keep in touch with everyone,” he said at the time. “There’s a group chat with me, Casey [Cott], Charles [Melton], Cole [Sprouse], and Drew [Ray Tanner]. I talk to Cami [Mendes] a lot. I’ve had her and Rudy [Mancuso] over for dinner a couple of times. I talk to Lili [Reinhart]. We all love each other.”

Apa added: “We’ll probably be 80 years old and still have this bond, even if we haven’t spoken to each other. I would die for every one of them. Truly, I would.” Seeing the bond is so strong, we have one question: Will any of the co-stars have an active role in the wedding? Guess we’ll have to wait and see!
