It’s a good time to be a watch lover in the NFL. Play your cards right—and throw enough passing yards—and you may find yourself the lucky recipient of a brand new, highly limited Breitling Chronomat B01 42 chronograph.
The Official Timepiece Partner of the NFL since 2025, Breitling has produced a plethora of NFL-themed watches within the Chronomat Automatic GMT, Endurance Pro, and Super Chronomat B01 collections thus far. For those lucky enough to win an NFL Honors award at last night’s ceremony in San Francisco, however, Breitling has added two new ultra-exclusive editions to the lineup. Last night, nine lucky NFL Honors recipients each received a custom stainless steel Chronomat B01 42 chronograph set with nearly 200 diamonds, all of which were engraved with “NFL HONORS 2026” on the caseback alongside a printed NFL Honors shield. The rarest of the bunch naturally went to Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford, who took home a special 18K red gold version engraved with “2025 NFL MVP” alongside his MVP award.
Breitling is a good fit for the NFL: Its products are large, hard-wearing, and conspicuous—appropriate stuff for hard-charging athletes who spend three hours getting knocked on their asses once a week. (And doing the knocking.) Were watches allowed on the field during gameplay, the Chronomat B01 42 chronograph is certainly the type of timepiece one could see on the wrist of a 240-lb. linebacker. Coming in at 42mm in diameter and roughly 15mm in case height, with 200m of water resistance, a triple-register chronograph, and a rubber dive strap, it’s as easy-wearing as it is durable.
