“You weren’t a medic, were you?” Nope! Mommy was a sniper! Well Go has revealed an official trailer for an action thriller from Australia titled Seven Snipers, out to watch in the summer this June. It’s opening first in Australian in limited theaters starting this week – because it’s an Australian production set down in Oz. “She escaped her past. It hunted her down.” A retired sniper in hiding out on an Australian ranch must reunite her elite kill squad when a vengeful warlord threatens her daughter. Starring Aussie actress Radha Mitchell as the sniper, Tim Roth as the warlord after her, along with Ioan Gruffudd, Ryan Kwanten, Annabel Wolfe, Lee Tiger Halley, Damien Ryan, Bianca Wallace, Charles Cottier, and Pacharo Mzembe. Survival is personal. Calling in her old crew, she prepares to defend her family. So this is a sniper riff on Seven Samurai? Very interesting. Well Go is sending it directly to VOD with no US theatrical release at all. Even though it seems campy enough to be an entertaining watch with friends. Take him down, Radha!

Here’s the official trailer (+ posters) for Sandra Sciberras’ thriller Seven Snipers, direct from YouTube:

A retired elite sniper (Radha Mitchell) & her daughter Anja (Annabel Wolfe) live a quiet life in the remote Australian countryside. That peace is shattered when a ruthless warlord (Tim Roth) from her past returns for retribution. Calling in her old crew, she prepares to defend her family in this taut action-thriller. Seven Snipers is directed by the producer / filmmaker Sandra Sciberras, director of the films Caterpillar Wish, Surviving Georgia, The Dustwalker, and The Green Door previously. The screenplay & story is written by Andrew O’Keefe. Produced by Tristan Barr, Grant Hardie, Phil Hunt, Ian Kirk, Compton Ross, and Sandra Sciberras. This opens first in Australian cinemas this week. Well Go USA will then debut Sciberras’ Seven Snipers movie direct-to-VOD in the US starting June 5th, 2026 coming up this summer. Want to watch?
