Top 65 fantasy football standard RBs for Week 10

Welcome to Week 10 of the fantasy football season. Last week was a good one for those who work the waiver wire, as Rico Dowdle and Kyle Monangai were Top 3 fantasy backs this week. We are now halfway through the season and waivers will become even more important as injuries and tanking start to pile up.

Kansas City Chiefs, Cincinnati Bengals, Tennessee Titans, Dallas Cowboys

Kareem Hunt, Isaiah Pacheco, Chase Brown, Samaje Perine, Tony Pollard, Tyjae Spears, Javonte Williams

Swift missed Week 9 with a groin injury that he’s been playing through. The team finally decided to give him some rest to get as close to 100% as possible last week. Rookie Kyle Monangai took advantage of the lead back role with 26 rushes for 176 yards, and three receptions for 22 yards against an awful Bengals defense. Both backs can have a fantasy role when healthy, but if Swift were to miss again this week, Monangai would be in line for another great matchup with the Giants.

Barkley tweaked his groin in Week 8 against the Giants, but all reports have been positive about it not being a severe injury. With the Week 9 bye, Barkley should be ready to go against the Packers on Monday Night Football.

Rhamondre Stevenson, Patriots

Stevenson missed Week 9 with a toe injury and his availability for this week remains up in the air. TreVeyeon Henderson and Terrell Jennings split work in his absence. Henderson has the juice, but Jennings will hurt his upside while Stevenson is out.

Judkins got an extra week to heal his shoulder due to their Week 9 bye and then was seen at Monday’s practice. The team doesn’t have to give a practice report until Wednesday, but it is a good sign he was out there. If he can play, he gets a good matchup against the Jets.

Jones suffered an AC joint sprain in his shoulder in Week 9, but initial reports say the injury is minor and he could still play this week when they play the Ravens. If he can’t go, Jordan Mason gets a bump.

Benson was injured in Week 4 and underwent arthroscopic surgery on his meniscus. His return time table was set at 4-6 weeks, which puts this week as a possible return. We are still waiting on more news though, as updates have been few and far between. Without Benson, the team hasn’t really settled on a lea back and it’s a big pain in the butt for fantasy.

Omarion Hampton, Chargers

Chargers HC Jim Harbaugh said he doesn’t expect Omarion Hampton to return until after the Week 12 bye. That leaves Kimani Vidal as the lead back for the time being. He’s coming off a poor game, but he has shown he has what it takes to be a strong contributor in fantasy.

Irving missed the last four games with a shoulder and foot injury and now is coming off an extra week of rest due to the bye. Hopefully he’ll be ready to go this week, but we are still waiting on practice reports. Rachaad White would continue to see the lead role if Irving can’t return this week against the Patriots.

Pacheco injured his knee late in their Week 8 MNF game against the Commanders. He suffered an MCL sprain, which shelved him for their Week 9 matchup with the Bills. With a bye this week, it appears he will have a good chance to return in Week 11.

Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Sunday released Srinagar Khel Sankalp document at the end of the three-day Chintan Shivir, outlining a collective national vision to strengthen sports culture through “co-operative federalism”.

The document recognised sport as a driver of economic growth and nation-building — boosting tourism, attracting international events, spurring local industry and reinforcing India’s ambition to host major global sporting events. It said sports federations, States and the Centre must work in harmony to make India a sporting nation and ensure sport does not remain a footnote in the country’s growth story.

Mandaviya chaired the Chintan Shivir of the Ministers of Youth Affairs and Sports of States and Union Territories of the country. Over 15 state sports ministers, along with eminent sports personalities such as Adille Sumariwalla, Abhinav Bindra, Pullela Gopichand and Gagan Narang attended the Chintan Shivir and shared their ideas with the stakeholders.

The document outlined a collective national vision to strengthen the sports culture through co-operative federalism, with a focus on athlete-centric development, expansion of sports infrastructure, talent identification, development of regional sports clusters, and leveraging sports for unity, youth empowerment, health, tourism, and economic growth. It also reaffirms India’s aspiration to host major global sporting events.

“To realise this (sporting) ambition, we affirm that Sporting Federations and Associations, States, and the Union shall move as one, converging on shared targets, speaking in one voice, and advancing together with an athlete-centric approach,” the document read.

“We dream together of hosting the world’s biggest tournaments — Olympics and World Cups — to uplift communities and showcase India’s unity on the global stage. We, the States and the Union, pledge from this valley and beyond: sports will not be a footnote but a rising chapter in India’s renaissance.

“With one voice — Sankalp se Siddhi (resolution brings success) — we commit ourselves to this journey, confident that together we will build an India where every athlete can soar, and every child is fit and healthy,” the document said.

It said India’s diversity is its greatest strength and resolved to scour the length and breadth of the country to identify talent and build sporting communities rooted in the nation’s varied geography.

“We recognise that India’s diversity is not a challenge to be managed but a reservoir to be drawn from, and we shall map and develop infrastructure, identify talent, and build sports clusters rooted in the unique geography, culture, and heritage of every State. ‘Yogah karmasu kausalam’ (excellence in action) guides our steps.

“We see sport as a potent tool of socio-economic development. We recognise that sports can drive economic growth by boosting tourism, attracting international events, and spurring local industry,” it said.

“Every Indian child deserves the joy and strength that sport can give. In the spirit of federalism, we embrace the vision of a Viksit Bharat where sport plays a pivotal role in nation-building. Sport binds communities together, fosters camaraderie, and strengthens social bonds.”
