North Carolina head coach Michael Malone landed his first portal pickup, with Virginia Tech transfer Neoklis Avdalas joining the Tar Heels, according to reports by On3 and ESPN on Monday.

Avdalas, a 6-foot-9 guard who hails from Greece, played professionally in his home country and tested the NBA draft waters last offseason before landing at Virginia Tech. He made an immediate impact as a freshman, averaging 12.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and a team-high 4.6 assists in 31 games (all starts).

Praful Hinge became the first bowler to take three wickets in the first over of an IPL match for Sunrisers Hyderabad against Rajasthan Royals at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
