One of the guests lucky enough to attend Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s highly anticipated wedding is giving fans a rare glimpse inside the event. AMC Theatres CEO Adam Aron briefly shared a lengthy firsthand account of the couple’s Madison Square Garden wedding on social media before later deleting the post, offering new details about the ceremony, reception, and emotional vows exchanged between the newlyweds. According to Aron, the iconic New York City venue was transformed so dramatically that it was almost unrecognizable.

Aron explained that guests were greeted by a completely reimagined Madison Square Garden upon arrival. “It did not look like Madison Square Garden,” he wrote in a social media post.

According to Aron, nearly every visible surface inside the venue was covered in peach and white décor, while enlarged photos chronicling Swift and Kelce’s lives from childhood through their teenage years lined the space. “Immediately upon entry, everything… floors, walls, ceilings… was draped in peach and white,” he told fans. “Large blown up pictures of Taylor and Travis at each age, year by year from one year-old to late teenager-hood, were on display.”

He also described a portion of the arena that had been transformed into what appeared to be an outdoor garden retreat. “A small portion of MSG was cordoned off, devoid of any notion that that a basketball or hockey game ever shared that space,” he continued. “Somehow magically, someone created an outdoor garden at a lush countryside retreat.”

The AMC executive also provided one of the most detailed descriptions yet of the ceremony itself. According to Aron, soft romantic music played before the wedding party entered.

“After some relaxing and mellow romantic songs played to settle the house, a few violins and cello ushered in the wedding party. Headlined by handsome Travis in a white tux, and a jaw-dropping Taylor in a stunning white wedding dress with a long veiled train,” he wrote.

Aron noted that an officiant guided guests through the ceremony with a mix of humor and heartfelt moments. “An officiant talked and sang and talked,” he said. “He was warm and welcoming, funny and eloquent.” Swift’s publicist previously confirmed that actor Adam Sandler served as the couple’s officiant.

The Couple’s Vows Left A Lasting Impression

Among the moments Aron appeared most moved by were the vows exchanged between the bride and groom. “Long, entertaining, personal, charming, emotional, irreverent and endearing explorations by each as to how they met, why they want to be with each other for all eternity, the promises they made in joining their much-beloved two whole families (Kelce’s and Swift’s) as one, and committing to their new mutual life together,” he revealed.

Aron concluded that the strength of their relationship was impossible to miss. “This is no small love. Each at the absolute pinnacle of their worlds,” he wrote. “Each so obviously head over heels about having found their soulmate.”

He added that the ceremony concluded with a kiss after the exchange of rings and the official pronouncement of husband and wife.

A ‘Secret Garden’ Reception Followed The Ceremony

Following the vows, guests reportedly moved into an elaborate reception space. Aron described the celebration as an even grander version of the ceremony’s garden-inspired aesthetic.

“Then the party, an even larger stage set of a ‘Secret Garden’ that was just exquisite,” he shared with fans. “With five-story-tall lit ‘trees.’ Superb food and drink.”

He also noted the impressive guest list and entertainment lineup, writing, “An A-list audience to fete the young couple. And music, music, music.”

Celebrity Guest List Included Some Surprising Names

Reports suggest approximately 1,000 invitations were distributed for the wedding celebration. Several of Swift’s longtime friends attended, including Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, Jack Antonoff, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, and the Haim sisters.

Other notable attendees reportedly included Brad Pitt, Hugh Grant, Dakota Johnson, Machine Gun Kelly, Zoë Kravitz, Cara Delevingne, Benson Boone, Ellie Goulding, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, and more.

Notably absent from reported guest arrivals were Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, despite years of friendship with Swift.
