Bunnie Xo appears to be having second thoughts about airing details of her marriage breakdown.
In the Friday, July 10, episode of her podcast “Dumb Blonde,” Bunnie, 46, explained why she pulled last month’s podcast episode which featured her speaking candidly about why she and Jelly Roll, 41, called it quits after 10 years of marriage.
“I took it down because I realized I just don’t want one of the hardest moments of my life to become a permanent headline,” she shared on Friday’s podcast episode.
She continued, “I don’t want to live in that but I also believe that people deserve the space to heal, to evolve and to move forward.”
Bunnie admitted she was worried about the split being the main thing she is known for.
“But also, if I’m being real, I don’t want the divorce to become my entire personality. I don’t want to be the poster child for divorce,” she said.
While Bunnie has no intentions of keeping the podcast online in perpetuity, she has no regrets about sharing it in the first place.
“That episode served a purpose for me at that time, and it was real, it was honest, and it came from exactly where I was emotionally in that moment. But I’m not in that same place anymore,” she admitted.

Bunnie added that she thought people weren’t seeing the full picture of how she navigated her relationship breakdown “behind the scenes,” leading them to make inaccurate assumptions.
“I think that that’s where we need to pause and just kind of focus on the fact that people are like, ‘Oh, well, she moved on so fast.’ And it’s like, hold up. I’ve been mourning the loss of my marriage for at least a year. I had visions of the news breaking, of it happening,” Bunnie said.
She explained that there were moments that she “was on the floor screaming, crying.” Bunnie added that there were times that she “couldn’t even stand up because I was so f**ing devastated.”
While Bunnie had to deal with her personal life making headlines and strangers weighing in on her situation, the episode was lucrative. It became one of her most viewed episodes, earning her $100,000 in the process.
“But I don’t care about the money. If I cared about the money, I would’ve left it up and let it get another f***ing 100 grand,” she insisted.
In the podcast episode about the split, which dropped on June 18, Bunnie opened up about why they separated as well as shooting down speculation the marriage ended due to infidelity.
“On Mother’s Day, we had a little bit of an argument, which I don’t think the details are necessary,” she explained. “And, in that argument, I was so fed up and so tired that I just looked at him and said, ‘Well, then file the f***ing divorce papers.’”
After the podcast was released, Jelly Roll broke his silence on the break-up by publicly addressing the audience on stage at the Saratoga Springs, NY, leg of his tour.
“Me and my wife are best friends. We will always be best friends. We just got off the phone earlier today,” he said. “Nobody cheated on nobody. She just did a whole podcast about it. You can go watch it. Every word of it is the truth.”
Jelly Roll quietly filed for divorce from Bunnie in Tennessee on May 18, Us Weekly confirmed on June 15.
