Will Forte is promoting Coyote Vs. Acme!

The 55-year-old actor appeared at the 2025 Comic-Con International to chat about his long-awaited movie on Saturday (July 26) held at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, Calif.

Joining Will on the panel were his co-stars P.J. Byrne, Martha Kelly, and Eric Bauza along with director Dave Green.

Keep reading to find out more…During the panel, the cast announced that Coyote Vs. Acme will be hitting theaters on August 28, 2026.

If you didn’t know, the movie was fully filmed and in the post-production phase ahead of a release, when Warner Bros. Discovery decided to scrap the movie completely in November 2023. However, in March 2025, Ketchup Entertainment acquired the film for theatrical release.

During the panel, moderator Paul Scheer thanked Ketchup Entertainment for saving the movie.

“This movie wasn’t supposed to come out,” Paul said, via Deadline.

“I heard Warner Bros wouldn’t release the film — I’ve never heard of Warner Bros!” he joked. “This is really an Acme decision and I’m saying that for legal purposes.”

“Ketchup is single-handedly saving the Looney Tunes,” Paul added. “Mr. Ketchup, we salute you.”
