How long it took for Charlie Puth to sing the National Anthem at Super Bowl 60

The big day is here and the 2026 Super Bowl kicks off in just a few minutes. The Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots will face off in Super Bowl 60, but before the kickoff and before even the coin toss, we heard singer-songwriter Charlie Puth performing the National Anthem.

Puth completed the Star-Spangled Banner in 1 minute, 52.23 seconds at the 2026 Super Bowl. He is releasing a new album later this spring, but he got a chance to appear on the biggest stage of them all. Ahead of that performance FanDuel Sportsbook offered odds on length, and several other scenarios. They set the over/under at 119.5 seconds (1:59.30), which is right about where the song ended last year. This year he went UNDER the anthem. Jon Batiste sang the anthem in 1 minute, 59 seconds, which came in under the over/under of 120.5 seconds. Notably, I clocked it at 1:59.47, which would have gone over this year’s number.

You catch FanDuel timing the Anthem below:

FanDuel is offering five prop bets related to the Anthem, although they are only available in Ontario, Canada. The props are as follows, and we’ll provide results as they come in based on the Fox feed I’m seeing in the US:

Length (over/under 119.5 seconds): 1:51.37 (Over -110/Under -110)
Length of last “brave” note sung by Puth: Over 3.5 seconds -122, Under 3.5 seconds +100
First coach shown on broadcast during anthem: Mike Vrabel -142, Mike Macdonald +116
First QB shown on broadcast during anthem: Drake Maye -160, Sam Darnold +160
Player or coach shown crying during the anthem: Yes -230, No +184
