BABY DRIVER: It turns out, it’s never too early to get the keys to a Porsche.
In what may be the most unexpected brand collaboration since Issey Miyake’s iPhone Pocket for Apple, French luxury childrenswear brand Bonpoint is launching a capsule collection based on the German sports car manufacturer’s 911 model.
Popular with celebrities ranging from Tom Cruise to LeBron James and Mary-Kate Olsen, the legendary car has inspired a limited-edition line of ready-to-wear and accessories for children and babies dubbed My First Porsche, which will be available from March 11 in Bonpoint boutiques worldwide and online.
The unisex pieces are priced from 45 euros for a pair of socks adorned with checkered flags, to 345 euros for a rally jacket with patches inspired by vintage car racing. Among the clothing items are a sweatshirt and T-shirt featuring slogans such as “One of a kind” and “Anything is possible.”
Accessories draw inspiration from the racetrack, including a duffel bag and key ring that evoke a driver’s gear.

Gala Sarmini Kressmann, chief marketing and digital officer at Bonpoint, said the partnership was rooted in kids‘ earliest memories.
“Every child remembers the thrill of their first toy Porsche and the clothes that spark adventure. Together, Bonpoint’s savoir-faire and Porsche’s legendary design transform childhood joy into lasting memories,” she said.
“This partnership honors the stories that shape us,” added Deniz Keskin, director of brand management and partnerships at Porsche AG. “From the first toy car to the first rally jacket, Porsche sparks dreams that begin in childhood and evolve with time. Together with Bonpoint, we celebrate those treasured moments of discovery and connection.”
The collaboration comes amid growing interest in motorsports. Although Porsche is not involved in Formula 1, it participates in other competitions including the 24 Hours of Le Mans and Formula E.
In addition to its in-house Porsche Design label, which produces everything from hoodies to eyewear, the company has collaborated with fashion brands including Puma, Boss and Aime Leon Dore. It has also teamed with Tag Heuer on timepieces and Rimowa on luggage, among others.
