Danny Dyer is an Agent in One-Man-Show ‘The Soccer Agent’ Trailer

“I don’t just do this job. I AM this job!” ⚽ Vertigo Releasing has unveiled an official trailer for an indie film titled The Soccer Agent, also known as One Last Deal originally, since it should be called The Football Agent anywhere outside of the US. This Irish production first premiered at the Dublin Film Festival earlier this year and already opened in the UK back in March. It’s a one-man-show film set entirely in this guy’s office as he works out a major problem for his sports star clients. Starring Danny Dyer as Jimmy Banks, and Elliott Rogers as Matt Gravish. A veteran sports agent races to secure a final lucrative contract for his star client, as both their careers and lives hang in the balance. They’re sending this direct-to-VOD in the US this fall and they also completely missed the World Cup soccer craze this summer. This story turns into an unsettling thriller when he gets an “unknown” call that changes everything… Worth a look if it sounds good.

Jimmy Banks (starring Danny Dyer) is an old school sports agent who desperately needs to get his star player one last big payday before Jimmy’s life, and his client’s reputation, comes tumbling down. The Soccer Agent, also known as One Last Deal over in the UK, is directed by the Irish filmmaker Brendan Muldowney, director of the films Retribution in the Year 2050, Savage, Love Eternal, Pilgrimage, and The Cellar previously, and a few other short films. The screenplay is written by newcomer Peter Howlett. Produced by Richard Bolger, Paul Kennedy, and Patrick O’Neill. This initially premiered at the 2026 Dublin Film Festival earlier this year, and it already opened in UK + Ireland cinemas on March 13th, 2026 earlier this year. Vertigo Releasing debuts Muldowney’s The Soccer Agent direct-to-VOD in the US starting on September 1st, 2026 coming up soon. Look any good?
