“Evil Dead Wrath” Has Wrapped Filming

Warner Bros. Pictures

The upcoming “Evil Dead Wrath” has officially wrapped production ahead of a planned release on April 7th 2028.

Filmmaker Francis Galluppi (“The Last Stop in Yuma County”) writes and directs the film, the seventh overall movie in the series, and a short video marking the wrap has been released – one involving a big pool of blood.

“Evil Dead” creator Sam Raimi and franchise producer Rob Tapert are producing, while Bruce Campbell, Lee Cronin, Romel Adam and Jose Canas will executive produce.

No story details have emerged about the film as yet. We do know that the cast includes Charlotte Hope (“The Nun”), Jessica McNamee (“Mortal Kombat”), Zach Gilford (“Midnight Mass”), Josh Helman (“Mad Max: Fury Road”), Ella Newton (“Dangerous Animals”), Elizabeth Cullen (“Diabolic’), and Ella Oliphant.

The project is not to be confused with Sébastien Vaniček’s “Evil Dead Burn,” the sixth overall film in the series, which opens in cinemas on July 10th this year.

That follows a family coming together in a secluded house, a reunion that goes to hell as members gradually turn into Deadites.
