A hardworking single mom in Illinois spent days carefully leveling her yard and setting up a brand-new above-ground swimming pool so her two kids could cool off and play this summer.

Then a spiteful neighbor ruined it all in seconds.

Shocking security camera footage shows the woman sneaking into the backyard late at night, walking straight up to the filled pool, and deliberately tipping the whole thing over. Water explodes across the grass as the pool collapses into a useless heap.

The timestamp on the Wyze camera reads June 20 around 11 p.m.According to the viral post that first shared the video, the neighbor was allegedly “bothered by the noise of the children playing.”

One furious commenter wrote that the pool-dumper should “pay for everything and then some.” Others weren’t nearly as polite.

Single moms already have enough on their plate. Spending hours prepping the ground so her kids could have a little summer joy only to watch a neighbor destroy it out of pure spite is next-level low.

Illinois police have not yet publicly commented on whether charges are being pursued, but online the verdict is already in: this neighbor belongs in the Hall of Fame of worst neighbors ever.

Hopefully the mom gets a brand-new pool, and the person who dumped hers gets exactly what she deserves.
