“Mark my words: John Cooper will be back on top again!” Bonus Level has revealed the official trailer for an indie comedy film titled The Second Coming of John Cooper, marking the feature directorial debut of filmmaker Kevin Kraft. This premiered a few years ago and is getting a full VOD release on platforms this June to watch at home. Right from your own couch, too. Kevin Kraft’s The Second Coming of John Cooper is a mockumentary about a (fake) Hollywood actor. The story follows washed-up celebrity John Cooper, who partied away his career and vanished from the public eye. When a documentary crew discovers him couch-surfing at fan’s home, documenting his delusional quest to revive his career after squandering fame through partying and disappearing from spotlight. Starring Lane Compton as John Cooper, with Trevor Goober, Ilana Kohanchi, and Dustin Ybarra. Blurring the line between a real doc and a mock doc featuring real comedians like Rob Corddry, Brian Posehn, Doug Benson, and TikTok sensation Mads Lewis. This doesn’t look like the funniest comedy, but it does looks extra wacky & amusing enough to enjoy. Check it out below.

Years later, a documentary crew finds him living on the couch of his biggest fan in a tiny one bedroom apartment, and captures his moronic attempts to rebuild his career from scratch. The Second Coming of John Cooper is written and directed by newcomer American indie comedy filmmaker Kevin Kraft, making his feature directorial debut after a few other shorts previously. Made by Bonus Level Productions and Public Transit. Produced by Laura Hesse & Cody Chamberlain. This initially premiered back in 2024 at a few film festivals. But we’ve had good reports back from Hearts,” Clarke told reporters. “He’s training very well and he assures us he’s fully fit. He’s shown a tremendous resilience. He deserves to be there. If he was to struggle, we have the option to change them.</p> </section><section id="section-4"> <p>“(Curtis) has got something a little bit different to what we’ve got. He’s shown he can score a goal, he’s finished the season in a great place and it’s nice to have a young one in the squad.”</p> </section><section id="section-5"> <p>Striker Ross Stewart also makes his return for Scotland after not appearing for the team since 2022. He has 11 goals in 33 appearances for Southampton this season.</p> </section><section id="section-6"> <p>“(Stewart) was in my squad a few years ago, showed he could come up to this level. He’s had a terrible run with injury, but from January onwards he’s hit a rich vein of form,” Clarke said. “He’s shown he can score big goals in big games. The Arsenal game in the cup showed he can have an impact on games of that level. He’s a striker in form, so I decided to add him to the group.”</p> </section><section id="section-7"> <p>Udinese midfielder Lennon Miller was arguably the most notable omission from the roster. The 19-year-old made his international debut in March but did not play in two friendlies that month.
