Indore:इंदौर के शिवाजी मार्केट को हटाने की निगम ने कर ली थी तैयारी, कोर्ट से आ गया स्टे

इंदौर के शिवाजी मार्केट में पचास से ज्यादा दुकानों को नगर निगम हटाने की तैयारी कर चुका है। इन दुकानदारों को नगर निगम ने नंदलालपुरा सब्जी मंडी के मार्केट में जगह दी है, लेकिन दुकानदार इसके लिए राजी नहीं हैं। दुकानदारों को हटाने के लिए नगर निगम नोटिस दे चुका था।

 

रविवार को शहर कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष चिंटू चौकसे, अमन बजाज सहित अन्य नेता दुकानदारों से मिलने पहुंचे और उन्हें हटाए जाने पर विरोध जताया। इस बीच कुछ दुकानदारों ने हटाए जाने के खिलाफ कोर्ट की शरण ली थी। कोर्ट से दुकानदारों के पक्ष में स्टे आया है। अब एक सप्ताह तक निगम मार्केट पर कार्रवाई नहीं कर सकता है।

 

दरअसल, शिवाजी मार्केट वाले हिस्से में मेट्रो ट्रैक की खुदाई का काम शुरू हो चुका है। यहां से एक सुरंग बनेगी, जो खान नदी के नीचे से जाएगी। इस सुरंग के निर्माण में ये दुकानें बाधक बन रही हैं।

 

दुकानदार हटने के लिए नहीं राजी


शिवाजी मार्केट को नगर निगम ने ही बनाया था और वर्षों पहले दुकानें लीज पर दी थीं। हर साल नगर निगम इसका किराया भी लेता है। 126 दुकानदारों को शिफ्ट करने के लिए नगर निगम ने नंदलालपुरा सब्जी मंडी के समीप चार करोड़ रुपये की लागत से एक मार्केट भी बनाया है, लेकिन वहां दुकानदार जाने के लिए तैयार नहीं हैं।

 

निगम दुकानों के आवंटन के लिए ड्रॉ भी निकाल चुका है। मेट्रो के काम के लिए शिवाजी मार्केट मल्टीलेवल पार्किंग को भी हटाया जा चुका है और अब मार्केट की 50 से ज्यादा बाधक दुकानों को हटाने की तैयारी है। अब नगर निगम भी कोर्ट में अपना पक्ष रखेगा। फिलहाल स्टे मिलने के कारण दुकानदारों ने राहत की सांस ली है।
