आकाश सिंह की अगुवाई में गेंदबाजों के घातक प्रदर्शन के बाद मिचेल मार्श और जोश इंग्लिस की शतकीय साझेदारी के दम पर लखनऊ सुपर जाएंट्स ने चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स (सीएसके) को सात विकेट से हरा दिया। शुक्रवार को लखनऊ के इकाना स्टेडियम में खेले गए मुकाबले में टॉस हारकर पहले बल्लेबाजी करने उतरी सीएसके ने कार्तिक शर्मा की अर्धशतकीय पारी की मदद से 20 ओवर में पांच विकेट पर 187 रन बनाए। जवाब में लखनऊ ने 20 गेंदों के शेष रहते तीन विकेट पर 188 रन बनाए और मुकाबला अपने नाम कर लिया। 17वें ओवर की चार गेंदों पर पूरन ने लगातार चार छक्के ठोककर लखनऊ को जीत दिलाई।

That was confirmed with Friday’s reveal of Japan’s roster.</p> </section><section id="section-3"> <p>“The medical team assessed that it would be difficult for him to get back to fitness during the tournament,” Moriyasu told reporters Friday.</p> </section><section id="section-4"> <p>Monaco forward Takumi Minamino also will miss out on the World Cup after the 31-year-old suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in December.</p> </section><section id="section-5"> <p>Moriyasu did take a chance on some other players dealing with injury issues, with Wataru Endo, Ko Itakura and Takehiro Tomiyasu included on the roster.
