“She seems nice.” “But – it’s complicated…” Paramount+ in Australia has unveiled an official trailer for the romance series titled Two Years Later, arriving to watch starting in June. Filmed and set in Brisbane, the exciting new romantic drama series stars Phoebe Tonkin (Boy Swallows Universe, Bloom, Babylon) and Brenton Thwaites (Pirates of the Caribbean, Titans, Maleficent). After their work commute flirtation is interrupte d by the Covid-19 pandemic, 30-somethings Ryan and Emily are reunited two years later and his impromptu proposal leads them on a series of 8 dates to determine whether they should get married. Each episode (8 in total) is a date. Two Years Later is a modern love story that explores the deeply relatable and tender complexities of love, identity, ambition and the winding path to commitment. The cast also includes Roy Billing and Heather Mitchell. This is a very nice first look trailer, playing up the charm and passion of these good-looking youngsters as they give love a chance. Seems like an enjoyable enough series to watch.
