इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग के 50वां लीग मुकाबला जो लखनऊ सुपर जाएंट्स और रॉयल चैलेंजर्स बेंगलुरु टीम के बीच में लखनऊ के इकाना क्रिकेट स्टेडियम में खेला गया उसमें आरसीबी टीम के स्टार खिलाड़ी विराट कोहली की एक ऐसी घटना घटी जिससे सभी चौंक गए। इस मैच में सभी को कोहली से बड़ी पारी की उम्मीद थी क्योंकि वह आईपीएल 2026 में अब तक काफी अच्छे फॉर्म में दिखाई दिए हैं। कोहली इस मुकाबले में सिर्फ 2 गेंदों का सामना करते हुए डक पर ही प्रिंस यादव की बेहतरीन गेंद पर बोल्ड होकर पवेलियन लौट गए।

कोहली के साथ 9 साल बाद हुआ ऐसा

विराट कोहली को वर्ल्ड क्रिकेट में चेज मास्टर के तौर पर पहचाना जाता है, जिसमें आईपीएल में भी उनका ये कमाल देखने को मिला है। कोहली जब लखनऊ सुपर जाएंट्स के खिलाफ मैच में बल्लेबाजी करने मैदान पर उतरे तो दूसरा ओवर फेंकने आए लखनऊ की तरफ से प्रिंस यादव की दूसरी गेंद को वह समझने में भूल कर गए जिसमें 140.4 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से आई इस तेज इनस्विंग गेंद ने कोहली का ऑफ स्टंप उड़ा दिया। इसी के साथ साल आईपीएल में 2017 के बाद ऐसा पहली बार हुआ है कि विराट कोहली किसी मुकाबले में चेज करते हुए डक पर आउट हो गए। इससे पहले साल 2017 के आईपीएल सीजन में कोलकाता नाइट राइडर्स के खिलाफ मैच में टारगेट का पीछा करते हुए डक पर आउट हुए थे जिसमें इस मैच में आरसीबी की टीम 49 के स्कोर पर सिमट गई थी।

46 पारियों के बाद डक पर आउट हुए कोहली

आईपीएल में विराट कोहली लखनऊ सुपर जाएंट्स के खिलाफ इस मैच से पहले पिछली बार साल 2023 के सीजन में राजस्थान रॉयल्स के खिलाफ मैच में डक पर आउट हुए थे, जिसके बाद अब 46 पारियों के बाद वह बिना खाता खोले ही पवेलियन लौटे हैं। वहीं प्रिंस यादव आईपीएल इतिहास में सिर्फ दूसरे ऐसे गेंदबाज बन गए हैं जो कोहली को डक पर बोल्ड करने में कामयाब हुए हैं, इससे पहले पिछली बार धवल कुलकर्णी ने साल 2016 के आईपीएल सीजन में ये कारनामा किया था।
