Indore News: चोरी के शक में थाने लाए युवक ने पी लिया एसिड, पुलिस पर उठे सवाल

इंदौर के भागीरथपुरा क्षेत्र में पुलिस कस्टडी में एक युवक की मौत का सनसनीखेज मामला सामने आया है। रविवार देर शाम चोरी के संदेह में पकड़े गए युवक ने पुलिस चौकी परिसर में ही एसिड पी लिया जिससे उसकी जान चली गई। इस घटना के बाद पुलिस विभाग में हड़कंप मच गया है और वरिष्ठ अधिकारी मामले की जांच के लिए मौके पर पहुंच गए हैं।

 

चोरी के संदेह में हुई थी पूछताछ

मृतक की पहचान भागीरथपुरा निवासी श्रीराम पुत्र रमेश झा के रूप में हुई है। बताया जा रहा है कि एक वाहन चोरी के मामले में संदेह होने पर कौरव नामक पुलिसकर्मी उसे पूछताछ के लिए चौकी लेकर आया था। मृतक के परिजनों और स्थानीय सूत्रों के अनुसार वह पिछले एक दिन से पुलिस की निगरानी में था।

 

पानी के बहाने पिया एसिड

घटना के समय श्रीराम ने पुलिसकर्मियों से पानी पीने की इच्छा जाहिर की थी। जब वह पानी पीने के लिए बाहर निकला तो वहां साफ-सफाई के लिए रखा हुआ एसिड उसने पी लिया। हालत बिगड़ने पर उसे तुरंत सहायता देने का प्रयास किया गया लेकिन उसकी मृत्यु हो गई।

 

आरोपों के घेरे में पुलिस चौकी

चौंकाने वाली बात यह है कि जिस बाइक चोरी के मामले में श्रीराम को हिरासत में लिया गया था उसमें उसकी संलिप्तता स्पष्ट नहीं थी। कस्टडी में हुई इस मौत ने पुलिस की कार्यप्रणाली पर सवाल खड़े कर दिए हैं। वर्तमान में वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधिकारी घटना स्थल पर मौजूद हैं और मामले की बारीकी से जांच की जा रही है।
