LONDON — In the multicultural melting pot of Hammersmith, a defiant Sikh restaurant owner has turned his non-halal eatery into a frontline in Britain’s culture wars, arming himself with a pork sausage spray bottle labeled “anti-inbred spray” to repel aggressive protesters demanding he serve halal meat.

Harman Singh Kapoor, owner of Rangrez Indian restaurant on Fulham Palace Road, has been locked in a months-long nightmare after proudly declaring his business “non-halal” and refusing to cater to what he calls the “inbred community.” His signs and social media posts blasting halal slaughter as animal torture, and mocking those who demand it, sparked outrage, protests, fake reviews, death threats, and a mob scene that forced the 16-year-old spot to close.

But Kapoor isn’t backing down. In viral footage, the ballsy restaurateur holds up a handwritten warning: “Inbred spray, which contains pork, will be activated on the event of any disturbance by inbreds.” He then deploys the pork-laced mist on harassers outside his shop, narrating, “I used inbred repellent spray on Pakistani.”

The clash boils down to basic business rights versus imported demands. Rangrez never served halal. Kapoor, a Sikh who prefers jhatka meat methods, put up signs saying “Proudly we don’t sell halal. We don’t cater to inbreds.” That was enough to bring dozens, reports say up to 100, of mostly Pakistani Muslim protesters swarming the place in March, blocking entrances, filming, taunting, and allegedly throwing things.

Instead of clearing the mob, cops hauled Kapoor off in handcuffs. He was released after 24 hours without charges and now vows to sue the Met Police and London Mayor Sadiq Khan, claiming authorities targeted him for his Sikh faith while letting the harassers run wild.

“Instead of protecting us, the police targeted my religion, my Sikh faith and my beliefs,” Kapoor has said. He’s called for a public support rally and doubled down online as a vocal “Restore Britain” patriot.
