सईद अनवर की पत्नी का नाम लुबना है। शादी करने के बाद में दोनों की एक बेटी हुई लेकिन जन्म के बाद से वह काफी ज्यादा बीमार भी रहने लगी। साल 2001 में उनकी बेटी का निधन हो गया और इसकी वजह से क्रिकेटर पर भी गहरा असर पड़ा।

बेटी की मौत के बाद बने मौलवी

सईद अनवर की बेटी की जब मौत हुई तो वह बांग्लादेश के दौरे पर थे। इस घटना के बाद में पाकिस्तानी क्रिकेटर का जीवन पूरी तरीके से बदल गया था। बेटी के निधन के बाद में क्रिकेटर पूरी तरीके से धार्मिक हो गए थे और दाढ़ी बढ़ाकर मौलवी बन गए।

सईद अनवर का क्रिकेट करियर

सईद अनवर के क्रिकेट करियर की बात की जाए तो वह काफी ज्यादा जबरदस्त रह चुका है। उन्होंने पाकिस्तान के लिए 55 टेस्ट और 247 वनडे मैच खेले हैं। टेस्ट में 4052 रन बना चुके हैं। इसके अलावा वनडे में उनके नाम 8824 रन दर्ज है। बल्लेबाजी के साथ में उन्होंने गेंदबाजी भी बहुत जबरदस्त तरीके से की है। टेस्ट में उन्होंने 48 विकेट लिए थे और वही वनडे में उनके नाम पर 191 विकेट दर्ज है।
