नईदुनिया प्रतिनिधि, इंदौर। जाली नोट छापने वाले मुख्य आरोपित संजय वैष्णव ने पूछताछ में 500 रुपये के जाली नोट भी छापने की बात स्वीकार की है। उसकी निशानदेही पर पुलिस ने धार से छात्रावास संचालक ऋतिक बामनिया को गिरफ्तार किया है। उसने लाखों रुपये के जाली नोट खरीदकर बाजार में खपाने की बात भी स्वीकार की है। संजय एक हजार रुपये के बदले चार हजार रुपये के जाली नोट देता था।

पुलिस उपायुक्त (जोन-1) नरेंद्र सिंह रावत के अनुसार, संजय वैष्णव निवासी चोटिया बालूद (सरदारपुर), दीपक पटेल निवासी अटाहेड़ा (देपालपुर) और रवि प्रताप चौधरी निवासी मानपुर रोड को 200 रुपये के 424 जाली नोटों के साथ गिरफ्तार किया गया था। संजय फिलहाल पुलिस रिमांड पर है।

पूछताछ में उसने बताया कि वर्ष 2017 में संदीप रघुवंशी के साथ जाली नोट छापने का काम शुरू किया था। धार में प्रिंटर मशीन से लाखों रुपये के जाली नोट छापकर बेचे। कोतवाली पुलिस ने उसे पकड़ा तो दोनों जेल चले गए। वर्ष 2021 में स्पेशल टास्क फोर्स (एसटीएफ) ने छापा मारा तो वह फरार हो गया और तीन वर्ष बाद दोबारा पुलिस के हत्थे चढ़ा।

मूसाखेड़ी क्षेत्र को बनाया ठिकाना

जमानत पर जेल से बाहर आने के बाद उसने रवि के साथ मिलकर मूसाखेड़ी क्षेत्र में ठिकाना बनाया और 500 रुपये के जाली नोट छापने लगा। इसके बाद संजय ने 200 रुपये के जाली नोट छापना शुरू कर दिया था। शुरुआत में करीब आठ लाख रुपये के जाली नोट छापे।
